The seminar runs over the course of a weekend with 3 sessions both Saturday and Sunday, combining theory with practice.

What makes the Coaches’ Seminar fundamentally different from all of my other events is that the participants are all coaches and looking to improve as such.

As a coach, you need to make sure that your athletes know what to do and how to do it - but they don't always need to know why. It depends on the type of athlete that you are dealing with.

There are athletes that don't care about the why at all and who are happy if they can just do it correctly. Other athletes are very interested in understanding the why - and some of them will not be able to do it correctly without knowing and agreeing with the why.

As a coach, you need to be able to correctly categorise the athletes, so you avoid spending too much time explaining the why to someone who doesn't want or need to know - or providing superficial and ineffective explanations to those that really need to know.

The coach, however, always needs to know. You need to know all of the whys and be able to share them in a clear, concise and convincing way whenever needed.

The main theme of the Coaches’ Seminar is the “why” rather than the “what” and “how”.

Importantly, my coaching is based on the learning-by-doing principle. You are not going to sit on a chair in front of a whiteboard all day to hear me talk. On the contrary, you are going through the transformation yourself because some things are better understood if they are also felt.
